Take-Two’s Hint at GTA 6 Release by March 2025: What We Know

In recent developments, Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, has once again dropped subtle hints indicating a potential release of GTA 6 no later than March 2025.

Analysts had previously speculated that the highly anticipated next entry in the GTA franchise might see the light of day during Take-Two’s Fiscal Year 2024, concluding on March 31, 2024. These speculations were grounded in the publisher’s net bookings data. However, this year brought new forecasts from the publisher, revealing lower expected net bookings for FY2024.

This adjustment led to suggestions that if these projections are linked to the GTA franchise release, GTA 6 might be slated for launch during FY2025.

Recently, during the company’s financial earnings call with investors, Take-Two’s Chief Financial Officer, Lainie Goldstein, conveyed optimism about the upcoming fiscal year. Goldstein’s statement hinted at substantial growth and a pivotal moment in fiscal 2025, possibly signaling the release of GTA 6.

Phrases like “significant inflection point” and “new record levels of operating performance” further fueled speculation about a GTA 6 launch no later than March 2025, aligning with the end of the company’s FY2025.

Earlier this year, Take-Two’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, emphasized that GTA 6 needs to redefine the gaming landscape. Zelnick stated that each installment in the series should be groundbreaking while capturing the essence of Grand Theft Auto.

In 2022, he expressed that the game would set new standards for the franchise and the entire entertainment industry. Zelnick’s words reaffirm the dedication of the Rockstar Games team to push creative boundaries and elevate the GTA series.

As we eagerly await more information about GTA 6 (or GTA VI), it’s clear that anticipation is mounting. Stay engaged and speculate about the potential release of this highly anticipated game that promises to redefine the gaming experience.
